It we don't stand up and question the gut feeling we get when we think and feel that something is wrong, we let it go and the behavior become normalized and covered up. Thanks for encouraging us all to stay vigilant and not be afraid to ask questions.

Corruption is the inevitable consequence of racism. That's where we are.

But whose racism?

Any and all racism. Because not choosing the best honestly corrupts your value system and worse follows.

The thought I have is how women are also encouraged to not speak ill of other women, that we somehow owe every other woman our solidarity, even when they are doing horrific things.

Keep up the good work.

It really sticks in my craw when Maori politicians make sweeping claims about "our people . . .", especially when it comes to the degree of support they have and what they purportedly want. We live in a NI country town and one of our closest friends in her thirties is adamant that none of her whanau (Ngati Raukawa) and many others she knows want a bar of Te Parti Maori, what they claim and what they're trying to do. If they really are aiming at a general uprising of "our people", when push comes to shove I think they're counting on support that simply won't be there.

I hope so but I do worry about the young, looking for excitement and adventure. They can be so easily and badly influenced.

Do you know about Te Kahui Raraunga Trust, established in 2019 with an aim of gaining control of ‘Maori data’. The Trust is linked to the Iwi Chairs Forum & Te Pati Maori.

I gather the extent of ‘data’ is very wide ranging, and includes that on anyone identifying as having a Maori ancestor. Te Pati Maori’s recent calls for a separate parliament are undoubtedly connected to their expressed desire for all ‘Maori’ to be obliged to enrol only on the Maori Electoral Roll.

Many of our people (New Zealanders) have blended bloodlines along with social/work/sport/play communities, so being forced to choose ‘sides’ or race/identity-based electoral rolls goes against their whole way of living. The orientation towards data control doesn’t necessarily suggest altruistic goals either; it sounds a little too authoritarian and I suspect most the people they wish to control with the data may not get much of a say.

Another great piece.

The EFF is the TMP of South Africa. (Economic Freedom Fighters - Front to be honest)

It seems to be the only place where young white Marxists in South Africa can find a “home” as there is no political green movement in South Africa.

The EFF is a group who leverages off racism and exploit every avenue available to them to promote their ideology. This makes the EFF corrupt and racist.

The message to the Wokesters and Neo-Marxist is this. Engage with these people with honesty and empathy but stop patronising them, they have your number!
